DYNAMATIC TECHNOLOGIES SETS NEW BENCHMARK FOR ‘MAKE IN INDIA’ : DELIVERS COMPLETE SET OF AIRBUS A220 DOORS IN RECORD TIME

In a landmark achievement for the Indian aerospace sector, Dynamatic Technologies Limited today announced the readiness for delivery of the first complete ship-set of all eight doors comprising of main passenger doors, service doors, cargo doors and over- wing emergency exit doors for the Airbus A220 aircraft. The readiness for delivery, marks a significant milestone in the “Make in India” initiative and underscores the country’s rising capabilities in complex aerostructure manufacturing.

Shri Samir Kumar Sinha, Civil Aviation Secretary of India, Mr. Jürgen Westermeier, President and Managing Director, Airbus India and South Asia, Shri Piyush Srivastava, Senior Economic Advisor, and Dr. Udayant Malhoutra, CEO & Managing Director, Dynamatic Technologies Limited.

The handover ceremony was held at Dynamatic’s facility in Bengaluru, presided over by Shri Samir Kumar Sinha, Civil Aviation Secretary of India; Shri Piyush Srivastava, Senior Economic Advisor; Mr. Jürgen Westermeier, President and Managing Director, Airbus India and South Asia; and Dr. Udayant Malhoutra, CEO & Managing Director, Dynamatic Technologies Limited in the presence of Airbus MFT and Dynamatic team.

Speaking at the event, Shri Samir Kumar Sinha said,

Today, marks the delivery of the first complete ship-set of all eight doors for the Airbus A220 aircraft, completed ahead of schedule. This is a proud moment for Dynamatic, for Airbus and for India’s aerospace sector. This is a feat which is made in India, made for the world. On behalf of Government of India, I offer congratulations to the entire Dynamatic team and to Airbus.”
