The event which was marked by discussions on women oriented topics including ‘Challenges That Working Women Face’ , ‘Work Ethics & Etiquette’ and ‘How To Translate Opportunities Into Advantages’, witnessed wide spread participation from the women employees of Dynamatic Technologies, drawn from different age groups, diverse backgrounds and disparate streams of business activity.

Ms. Lakshmi, Mid Corporate General Manager – State Bank of India, drew on her rich experience in the banking industry to offer valuable advice to the participants about coping with the challenges they faced at work and at home, while Ms. Pramilla Malhoutra outlined the various components of good work ethics in addition to offering guidelines on Business Etiquette and Grooming.

Ms. Malavika Jayaram who is also a member on the Board of Directors of Dynamatic Technologies, narrated incidents from her legal career, using her international experiences to highlight the opportunities that the working women of today have. “People talk about the glass ceiling.” She commented during her talk, “There is a tongue in cheek quote about that. About how women, when they get to the top, not only work through the glass ceiling but, given their natural skills as homemakers and multi-taskers, keep it sparkling and clean, thereby affording people around them a clear transparent view of their excellent performance.”

The session which offered the participants the opportunity to engage in lively discussions about increasing their individual effectiveness was a huge success with the women employees of Dynamatic Technologies. “The session enabled me to better understand how ‘performance and ‘behavior’ work in breaking the barriers to success. I will be making a conscious effort to incorporate my learnings from this event when it comes to my deliverables” said Rama, General Manager Finance, whose views were echoed by other women managers at the event. “There was so much positive energy at this event…” said Asha, one of the young managers at Dynamatic Technologies, “The speakers were highly motivational and encouraging… and, we are all appreciative of the fact that our CEO and directors were present at the celebrations…”
